Polyurethane
Polyurethane (PU) is a urethane polymer (organic molecule) which, depending on its presentation, can serve many purposes.

The properties of polyurethane
Polyurethanes can be made with a wide variety of textures and hardnesses by varying the monomers used and adding other substances. They are used for glues, paints, elastomers (“rubbers”), foams, and fibers.
Thus, these plastics with wide applications are used in a large number of industries. Polyurethane films are used in the form of paint to protect against corrosion, abrasion and erosion of many types of equipment (aircraft wings, trains, automobiles, wind turbine blades, etc.) and under form of thick coatings as a shock absorber, shock protection or anti-shock coating.
