APS Coating Solutions today announces the creation of its Moroccan subsidiary in Casablanca.
Located in the heart of the MIDPARC industrial acceleration zone, fully integrated into the local aeronautical ecosystem, the new site will cover 12,000 m² of land.
The site will offer an integrated range of dry and wet surface treatments, complemented by associated operations such as non-destructive testing, grinding and other related services.
Designed to meet the most demanding quality standards of the aeronautical industry, the site will aim for the implementation of the EN 9100, Nadcap, Aero Excellence, and AirCyber standards. It will also incorporate a structured environmental approach, with a goal of zero liquid discharge, control of atmospheric emissions, and a trajectory for reducing its carbon footprint.
Commissioning is scheduled for the first quarter of 2028.
“Two years after the acquisition of Metrasur and Lorilleux, we are pursuing our ambition to strengthen our position as an integrated industrial player serving strategic industrial sectors,” declares Miguel Waxin, President of APS Coating Solutions. “This Moroccan subsidiary represents an important step in this trajectory: it will allow us to meet customer demand and enrich our aeronautical offering, particularly in wet coating.”
This project is being carried out in partnership with SFGP (Société Française de Grenaillage de Précontrainte), headed by Yannick FOLLEZOU, and CANI Group, an aeronautical consulting firm specializing in surface treatments, headed by Erick SEBE, as well as with other stakeholders. It is fully aligned with the dynamics of the Moroccan aeronautical sector and the industrial strategy pursued by the Kingdom of Morocco.
